Eric Poe - Driving Governance and Transparency in Car Insurance

Eric Poe is an insurance executive and policy advocate whose leadership combines business performance and public interest. As the CEO of CURE auto insurance and principal of NJ PURE, Eric Poe guides enterprise strategy while championing transparency, equity, and responsible regulation in the car insurance industry.

Under Eric Poe’s leadership, CURE auto insurance has grown from $42 million in 2020 to more than $200 million in revenue, employing over 450 professionals. The company operates call centers in Princeton and Detroit, along with additional facilities in Texas, Ghana, the Philippines and Mexico. In addition to serving as CEO, he serves as marketing director, personally guiding creative strategy and media decisions.

Mr. Poe also serves as principal of NJ PURE in Princeton, New Jersey. In this capacity, he oversees enterprise strategy, rate filings and reinsurance, underwriting, claims and loss control, marketing strategy, legal and litigation planning and governmental relations. His broad oversight demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the operational, financial, and regulatory dimensions of insurance management.
